As Hermione walked up the steps to Malfoy Manor her first thought was of her husband. She missed him dearly during work hours, and although he insisted she stay home, she knew she couldn’t.
She felt the need to work, she wasn’t a socialite who’s main job is to birth the next heir and plan useless parties. She was a girl who was raised that if you want something you need to earn it.
She had a wonderful lunch with Ginny, Luna, Harry and Ron. During the lunch she announced that she was indeed expecting the next Malfoy Heir. They all congratulated her and asked if she has informed Malfoy yet. She told them about her evening she had planned—but left out the juicy details of course. A lady never kisses and tells!
Shaking her head and trying to calm her nerves she entered the quiet Manor. She asked Tippy her personal elf where Draco might be.
“Draco is upstairs misses but—” Hermione thanked the elf at once and ran quickly up the stairs. She couldn’t wait to inform him of the wonderful news.
The groaning and moaning coming from their master bedroom stopped her feet. As if in slow motion she opened the door, revealing her worst nightmare.
Draco was on their bed, naked.
